Holy one, I pray to you
On this day when I walk these halls
Give me your ears that hear
Your eyes that see
Soften my heart and gift my voice
The words you would speak to your people
Grant me gentle ears that I might hear your stories
Whispered in the woven strands of life
That gather on this holy ground
Gift me to walk in your ways
On your paths, this sacred ground
That I might be your humble servant
To your people.
And so I pray
With my body and soul.
A-men. So mote it be.
